The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the world’s largest oyster festival and has been named one of the “top 20 events in the Southeast” by the Southeastern Tourism Society. Highlights include legendary oyster shucking and oyster eating contests, live music on the main stage, wine and beer, a children’s area, and a food court showcasing a variety of local restaurants to satisfy everyone’s tastes.

The SC Aquarium is hosting its first-ever Good Catch Oyster Fest! The evening highlights fresh hand-selected oysters, locally brewed beer, live music, and delicious food from local restaurants. The event also features oysters responsibly farmed by Good Catch partner St. Jude Farms, right in the ACE Basin, one of the largest undeveloped estuaries on the East Coast.
