Wild Dunes, Charleston’s Island Resort, is thrilled to be hosting the annual “Tale of the Fish” culinary event of the season. On Sunday, October 14th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at our Grand Pavilion located right on the water, the flavors of the Mediterranean and Adriatic coasts of Italy will marry for a deliciously indulgent evening. This one-of-a-kind foodie experience will welcome Charleston’s own celebrated chef, Ken Vedrinski and others to showcase their skills.
Vedrinski is the head chef at Trattoria Lucca and Coda del Pesce in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. He will be accompanied by: Dean Max of DJM Restaurants, Michelle Weaver of Charleston Grill, Scott Crawford of Crawford & Son, RJ of Agua, Craig Nelson of Proof, and Wild Dunes Resorts’ own Chef Shawn Singer. These prestigious chefs are devoted to highlighting and savoring the vibrant tastes of authentic Italian coastal cuisine right on South Carolina’s own coast.
Italian libations and Lowcountry ingredients infused with Italian tradition will create an evening like no other. This extraordinary experience caters to foodies and wine enthusiasts alike – as we all know the Italians love their vino! Tickets are on sale now for $95 (21+ only) or you can make a weekend of it by booking our Culinary Escape package for $129, which includes resort accommodations for one night and two tickets to Tale of the Fish.
