The Cooper River Bridge Run is an annual 10K held in Charleston, South Carolina that runs over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, the third longest cable bridge in the Western Hemisphere, and formally known as the Cooper River Bridge. It is the third largest 10K and the fifth largest road race in the United States. So naturally locals and tourists alike flock to Charleston for this exciting event.
The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. on April 6th along Coleman Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant and end in Marion Square in downtown Charleston. The Finisher Festival will be stocked with vendors, entertainment, food, souvenirs, refreshments and fun. The overall male and female winners will receive the 2019 finisher medal and $10,000.
