Head Golf Professional
Josh Gabellieri began working as a golf pro at Wild Dunes in 2014, but his golf career began long before that. He started playing at 18 years old and his passion for the game grew as he studied Exercise Science in undergrad at Plymouth State University and even more so as he studied Kinesiology in grad school at The University of Rhode Island. After continuing to study and play the game, he published his thesis manuscript entitled “The Physiological Demands of Walking During Golf.” Even as a pro, he is still waiting on his first hole in one. But his favorite pro tip for golfers is “When it’s breezy, swing easy.” He’s glad to be in Charleston playing and teaching golf with great guests and locals at Wild Dunes Resort.
