What time may I enter my accommodation?
Our keyless entry system allows you to gain entry into your rental accommodation by entering your unique access code provided in your arrival email on the electronic keypad door lock, eliminating the need for a physical key. Your door access code will activate at 4 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Once through the main entrance gate, you may proceed directly to your home or condominium rental at the address listed in your accommodation details in your arrival email and enter your unit after 4 p.m.
Do I need to let anyone know that I have arrived?
Yes. You are required to contact Guest Services at 843.886.7100 or WDguest@destinationhotels.com immediately upon entering your accommodation to confirm your arrival to Wild Dunes Resort.
How much does it cost to park?
Self parking and valet parking are complimentary.
How old do you have to be to Check-In?
18 years of age.
What time is Check-In?
After 4 p.m. guests check in at the Boardwalk Inn's front desk.
What time is Check-Out?
By 10 a.m. in Homes and Condos. By 11 a.m. in the Boardwalk Inn and The Village at Wild Dunes. A late departure fee may be assessed for departures after aforementioned times.
What address do I enter into GPS to get to Wild Dunes?
Enter 1 Sundial Circle Isle of Palms, SC 29451. This will take you to the main Resort gate. Your arrival email will include the GPS address to your accommodation and driving directions from the main gate as well.
How do I get my gate pass?
Approximately 3 days prior to your arrival, you will receive an email from Wild Dunes that will contain a link to your Resort gate pass. You will need to print the gate pass and place it prominently in your windshield.
How do I change my door access code?
Personalizing your door access code is a breeze. Simply enter your assigned door access code, then press #. Now you will need to customize your access code. Enter a 6-digit personal code that will be easy for you and your party to remember during your stay. *If you forget your personal code, use the original assigned code to open the door and follow the instructions to change the code again if you choose.
If I have additional vehicles arriving with me who have last names different from mine, what do I do?
If you are traveling with two or more vehicles, the additional vehicles may obtain entry passes by entering the main entrance gate through Lane 1 (far Left Lane), and providing the guard the last name associated with your reservation. The attendant will provide additional green guest passes for the remainder of your stay. Likewise, if you are expecting drive-in visitors during your stay, you’ll need to grant them access through the main entrance gate. Please contact the Resort Ambassador at 843.886.6000 or extension 0 at least one hour prior to your visitor’s arrival.
What time can I arrive for late arrival?
Late check-in is always available. However, if arriving after 8 p.m., please contact us at 843.886.6000 so that we may better plan for your arrival.
What do I need for credit card authorization?
Conveniently charge Resort purchases to your room! If you would like to enable room charges to avoid carrying credit cards and cash around property, please visit the Front Desk at the Boardwalk Inn or Guest Services on the Village Plaza. Your Accommodation and Services
What supplies are included in the Village Studios and Suites and Wild Dunes Homes and Condominiums?
A starter kit of dish-soap, sponge, dishwashing detergent, one roll of paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags (in the bottom of each can). All major appliances including (but not limited to) washer & dryer, refrigerator (some with ice makers), dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave. Minor appliances including (but not limited to) toaster, blender, full sized coffee maker, etc. Plates, bowls, silverware, pots and pans, cups, mugs, and wine glasses (appropriate number for number of guests the home
or condominium sleeps), cooking utensils and serving ware. Sheets and pillowcases. A starter supply of bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. Additional items include:
Broom, mop and vacuum
Iron and ironing board
Extra blankets and pillows
Starter kit of travel-size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash & soap
*Some units have DVD player and/or stereo*

What Housekeeping services are provided?
All guest rooms and suites in the Boardwalk Inn and Village at Wild Dunes receive daily housekeeping services. For stays in Wild Dunes Home and Condominiums, the following
services are included. Stays under seven nights receive a departure clean only. Stays of seven nights or more receive a complimentary mid-week cleaning. Rate includes Arrival/Departure Housekeeping. Housekeeping services in addition to those already provided are available upon request for an additional fee and require a 48 hour notice. Stays exceeding 27 days receive departure clean only.
What is included in my rate?
All rates are subject to availability and may change without notice. Rates do not include taxes/fees: Sales and Accommodations taxes 14%, Resort Services Fee 16% (subject to change). Resort Fee includes maintaining community roadways, bicycle paths, beach access paths and Wild Dunes Security Services. Also complimentary on-Resort transportation and business center access and complimentary access to Grand Pavilion, Swim Center and Palm Cove. Meeting and conference group attendees are also charged the group amenity fee.
What’s included in the Resort Service Fee?
Wild Dunes Resort is pleased to offer guests a number of services inclusive in the Resort Service Fee. The Resort Service Fee of 16% is added to each accommodation rate and is subject to change.

What is the cancellation policy?
Boardwalk Inn Guest Rooms & Village at Wild Dunes Guest Rooms, Suites & Studios and meeting attendee cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit amount. Deposits for reservations cancelled more than 7 days before arrival will be refunded 100%. Wild Dunes Vacation Home & Villa cancellations made within 15 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the total value of the reservation. Deposits for reservations cancelled 16+ days in advance of arrival will be refunded 100%.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, no pets are allowed.
Is outdoor grilling allowed?
Outdoor grilling in rental units is strictly prohibited by local fire codes.
What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is not permitted in any rental units. Fees starting at $350 will be assessed if smoking occurs in the accommodation.
Are there any motorized vehicles not permitted on the Resort?
Motor Homes, boat trailers, personal watercraft, motorcycles and other two wheeled motorized vehicles are prohibited within the gates of Wild Dunes. Wild Dunes Resort makes no provision for parking/storage of such vehicles.
Does the City of Isle of Palms have ordinances?
Isle of Palms noise ordinance requires that “quiet time” is in effect Sunday through Thursday from 10 pm-10 am and Friday and Saturday from 11 pm-10 am and includes noise restrictions on stereos, televisions and any other noise. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the beach and public streets. Beach fires and fireworks are prohibited due to fire hazards. Beach chairs, umbrellas and tents left unattended on the beach after sunset may be disposed of by the City. For safety, guests are asked to refill any beach holes they may dig.
Do you offer shuttle service?
Complimentary shuttle service is offered throughout the Resort.
Do you offer roll away beds?
Wild Dunes offers roll away beds (on a limited basis) for an additional fee for guests staying in the Boardwalk Inn and the Village. To reserve a roll away in these accommodations, please contact us at 800.845.8880. Do you offer babysitting services?

How many pools do you have on property?
The resort offers 4 pools for all guests - two at the Grand Pavilion, one at the Swim Center, and one behind the Boardwalk Inn. For those renting Wild Dunes Resort vacation rental homes and condos may also enjoy access to the designated complex or private pool associated with their specific vacation rental unit (when available).
What is the general availability of children’s program and age ranges?
Availability of the Resort’s recreational programs such as arts & crafts, beach games, and kid’s camps, vary upon season. Generally, we accommodation children ages 5-12, and do offer additional teen activities. For more information, please contact our pre-arrival concierge at 843.886.2218.

What Wi-Fi connectivity exists on the Resort?
Wild Dunes offers complimentary Wi-Fi in all Boardwalk Inn guest rooms and all Village rooms and suites. As well, the Grand Pavilion, Palm Cove, Boardwalk Inn lobby area, and Village Plaza are all Wi-Fi hotspots. Because of the Resort’s remote location, some areas of the resort (including homes and condominiums) may have stronger signals than others.
