See the best views of Charleston from the pedestrian lane of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge over the Cooper River, named one of "the most beautiful bridges in the world" by CNN. Meander along one of the less traveled and most tranquil areas on the Resort, the beach along the 17th hole of the Links Course looking out onto the edge of Isle of Palms and neighboring Dewee’s Island. Walk through history on Chalmers Street, the longest remaining cobblestone street in Charleston, running from Meeting to State streets. Chalmers Street's bumpy cobblestones worked their magic enough to earn the nickname "Labor Lane."
Soak in the serenity of the lowcountry as the sun begins to set and wildlife unwinds for the evening as you take in views of scenic waterways, nearby barrier islands and swaying marsh grass on our three-hour Morgan Creek Sunset Paddle. Bike the loop along Back Bay Drive and Marsh Island Drive between the 4th and 18th greens on the Harbor Course where deer and egrets can be seen mingling among the sea grass. Discover a nearby barrier island’s boneyard beach and its resident wildlife with a local naturalist on Caper's Island Exploration. See the seasonal Vacation Planner for details.
Learn one of Charleston's most celebrated crafts with our "Playing with Fire" iron-working activity, led by local blacksmith James Irving to test your hands at the art form that's found throughout Charleston's historic homes, churches, gardens and gates.
