Scenic Bike Paths

Palmetto Drive to Beachside Burgers & Bar


Overview: >1 mile, Easy


Savor views of sandy white shoreline, ocean breeze, and surrounded lush green trees.




From Wild Dunes Resort's bike rental shop off Palmetto Drive and facing the ocean, pedal south approximately one hundred feet, before making a right onto Grand Pavilion Boulevard and continuing on until the road ends.


Park your bikes and walk through a break between buildings 112 and 130, alongside the boardwalk where you’ll reach Beachside Burgers and Bar for some juicy hamburgers, fries, and chicken tenders, along with frosty drinks.

Palmetto Drive & Bay Back Loop


Overview: 2.9 miles, Moderate

Enjoy sweeping views of the coastline, plenty of South Carolina sun, and opportunities to spot wildlife as you pedal.


Starting at Wild Dunes Resort's bike rental shop on Palmetto Drive, pedal Northeast for just over a mile, where the road turns into Back Bay. Continue on Back Bay for an additional ~1.5 miles, before turning left onto Racquet Club Road.


Continue on Racquet Club Road for a couple hundred more feet before turning right on Twin Oaks Lane, where you can park your bikes and enjoy a mango margarita and bacon turkey sandwich at Woody’sIf skipping Woody's, continue on Racquet Club Road for 800 feet before turning left back to Palmetto Drive and completing your ride at the bike shop.

<h2>Morgan Creek Loop</h2>


Overview: 6+ miles, Moderate-Hard

Known for its stunning marina, lapping waters, and ocean breeze, the Morgan Creek Loop will take you from the bike shop at Wild Dunes Resort to a stunning waterfront with docked boats, and sometimes wildlife.


From the bike shop off Palmetto Drive, head West for approximately 1.8 miles, before turning right onto Morgan Place.

Continue for 0.75 miles, until turning right onto Morgan Creek, which will eventually veer left, crossing over the water.  Return to the bike shop.
