    What to Expect When You Stay With Us

    At Wailea Beach Villas, we embrace the value of kakou, “we are all in this together.” Rest assured knowing that we are devoted to your safety and health, in addition to the wellbeing of our associates and owners. When you return to your island home, we will be here to welcome you with Aloha. 

     

    Although there will be some changes to our services and amenities, we are committed to ensuring you have an enjoyable stay. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will continue to keep you in-the-know with updated information; below are details on what you can expect when you stay with us.

     

    ARRIVAL EXPERIENCE | CHECK IN AT 4:00pm daily

    We will be employing contactless check-in social distancing protocols to ensure your arrival is as seamless and safe as possible with minimal interaction with staff and other guests.

     

    LOBBY AND PUBLIC AREAS

    Per the governor's emergency rules, face coverings are required in all areas of the resort.  Our staff will be cleaning and disinfecting all public and high-traffic areas on a regular basis each day. 

     

    CONCIERGE SERVICES | 9:00am – 5:30pm daily

    Our guest services staff have all the local tips and tricks along with, great rates, and reservations for Maui activities. Whether it be a luau, dinner cruise, bicycle adventure, helicopter tour, dinner reservations, or even babysitting, our friendly staff can arrange it for you.  We will be communicating with guests primarily through our text messaging service Zingle or teleconferencing service, which you will receive instructions on prior to your arrival.

     

    FRONT DESK | 8:00am - 6:00pm daily

    Our front desk team will be available to assist with your needs, package pick-up, and offer bell services to transport luggage or grocery provisions.

     

    HOUSEKEEPING

    To ensure the safety of our guests and associates, we will be suspending daily housekeeping for the time being. Before you arrive, our team of in-house cleaning professionals will clean your residence using industry leading techniques, tools, and products in accordance with the Hyatt Global Cleanliness & Care Commitment, CDC and WHO guidelines. If you need anything during your stay such as additional towels or trash removal, we have you covered!  Visit our page on safety and cleanliness protocols to see all the measures we are taking to prepare for your stay.

     

    POOLS AND HOT TUBS | Open daily

    Our pools and hot tubs will be open to guests and following recommended CDC and government social distancing guidelines. No more than ten people will be allowed in the pools at any given time. There will be hand sanitizer stations set up and staff will be cleaning chaises in between uses.  Guests will be asked to wear masks when sitting poolside and may need to reserve lounge chairs depending on pool occupancy.  Towel service will be provided but will not be self-service.

     

    BEACH ACCESS

    Guests of Wailea Beach Villas will be expected to adhere to social distancing requirements mandated by the state of Hawaii of keeping six to eight feet apart and limiting group sizes to no more than 10 people.

     

    BUSINESS CENTER | 8:00am to 6:00pm by Reservation

    Access to the business center will be limited to one person at a time for 30-minute increments. The business center will be sanitized before and after each use.

     

    BILLIARDS ROOM | 8:00am to 6:00pm by Reservation

    Billiards room use will be limited to 60-minute increments and access is requested through the front desk. .

     

    FITNESS CENTER | 8:00am to 6:00pm Daily by Reservation

    We will follow CDC and Maui guidance and regulations on fitness center use, limiting the number of guests who use the facilities to five people maximum (unless all are from the same party traveling together) for one-hour workouts. Equipment will be staggered to encourage social distancing.  Guests will be asked to schedule a time to use the facilities. We will be asking guests to wipe down equipment after each use with the cleaning supplies provided. Towel service will be temporarily suspended. Mask use is recommended and can be obtained from the front desk or pool attendant.

     

    DINING

    Our in-villa private chef services will still be available and can be arranged through our guest services team. Local restaurants are also offering take-out options with call-in orders.

     

    DRY CLEANING SERVICES | Saturday and Sunday

    Dry cleaning services are available for Saturday or Sunday pick up and will be returned within 48 hours. 

     

    GROCERY DELIVERY SERVICES

    Skip the line at the grocery store and get your groceries delivered right to your vacation home.  Maui Market is offering delivery and Safeway via Instacart is offering curbside pick-up and delivery.

     

    ELEVATORS

    While we generally recommend taking the stairs, elevator access will be limited to those traveling in the same party and elevator interiors and button panels will be cleaned regularly on a daily basis.
