Hotel Talisa’s weekly Yappy Hour celebration will offer treats, beverages, and fun for pets and people. Drink specials and half-priced hot dogs will be available for guests. Dogs can enjoy Bowser Beers, a delicious brew formulated specifically for pets to promote healthy joints will be for sale. We are very excited to feature an adoptable shelter dog from the Eagle County Humane Society.

Fly Fish the Gold Medal waters of Gore Creek
Fly fishing enthusiasts rejoice! Sitting along more than a half-mile of Gold Medal waters, Hotel Talisa offers anglers the chance to hook rainbow, cutthroat, brown and brook to land the Colorado Trout Grand Slam. The area features many options for fly fishing and we are excited to partner with local fishing experts, Vail Valley Anglers!

Vail Golf Club, one of the area’s most popular courses, is located at the base of the Gore Mountain Range and offers an amazing 18-hole experience at a whopping 8,200 feet in elevation.

Epic Discovery

Located on top of the Vail Ski Resort, Epic Discovery is the ultimate way to enjoy the mountain during the summer months with all kinds of “epic” adventures to be had. Featuring seven zip lines above the trees, summer tubing on a 550-foot long tubing hill, two rope adventure courses, rock climbing, a giant bungee trampoline and the Forest Flyer, a raised alpine coaster that winds 3,400 feet down the mountain. There’s also plenty of trails for hiking and mountain biking, as well as the scenic gondola, which takes guests to an elevation above 10,000 feet.


Betty Ford Alpine Gardens
The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens are the world's highest botanical garden, located at 183 Gore Creek Drive, Vail, Colorado, United States, at an 8,200 feet altitude in the Rocky Mountains. The Gardens are open to the public year round. Enjoy internationally acclaimed botanical garden known for its alpine horticulture, education and conservation.

Live Music Festivals
The Vail Valley community is excited to announce the return of Whistle Pig Vail, a summer-long music series that brings a new era of headliner music to the iconic Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail. The series is booked in collaboration with AEG Presents, one of the largest live music companies in the world, and will bring well-known rock, pop, country and bluegrass icons to Vail for ticketed shows throughout the summer.
