Helpful Information for Your Stay in Vail Residences

Do you have parking at Vail Residences at Cascade Village?  
Yes, all of our Vail, Colorado condos and rentals have parking for at least 1 vehicle available. For specific details on the property where you are staying, please see the individual property amenities under the Condominiums And Homes tab. 

Do guests have access to hotel amenities? 
Guests of the Vail Residences have access to the hotel amenities including:

  • Pool and hot tub access
  • Dining at the hotel including Gessner, Fireside Lounge, The Gore Creek Terrace and The Market.

Do you have a pool? 
Many of our properties have outdoor heated pools, and almost all have outdoor hot tubs. For specific details on the property where you are staying, please see the individual property amenities under the Condominiums And Homes tab.

Is there an onsite restaurant at Vail Residences at Cascade Village? 
Yes, The resort offers 4 dining outlets.

  • Gessner, Grand Hyatt Vail's signature restaurant and bar is open daily for breakfast and dinner. 
  • Fireside Lounge offers a setting for enjoying Vail dining with inventive apres-ski food, drink, music, conversation and floor-to-ceiling mountain views. 
  • The Market is a favorite stop for active guests who prefer quick serve and gourmet to-go foods
  • The Gore Creek Outdoor Kitchen is a fast and casual full service food truck open Tuesday - Thursday.

How far is the walk to the lifts and mountains?
Depending on where you are staying, you may be ski-in/ski-out or a short walk away. 
Shuttle Service is available to/from the condominiums and homes to the lift,  and hotel.
Shuttle service to Lionshead and Vail Village is available from the main hotel entrance and runs every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seasonally.

How far are hiking trails from Vail Residences at Cascade Village?
Gore Creek Trail winds through Cascade Village with multiple trails weaving throughout the property. Some are as close as a five minute walk, depending on where you are staying. 

What is the resort fee at Vail Residences at Cascade Village?  
Private vacation home and condo rentals are subject to a 7.5% resort fee per home, per night. Resort fees are subject to change.

How far are the Vail Residences from Lionshead and Vail Village?
The Vail Residences at Cascade Village are 2 miles from Lionshead and 3 miles from Vail Village.

Can I bring my pet to Vail Residences at Cascade Village?
No, pets are not permitted.  

Is there a grooming/weather report available?
The daily conditions report is available at the front desk, on our Local Weather page, or you can look online at www.Vail.com.

What else is there to do besides skiing at the Vail Residences at Cascade Village?
You can go snowshoeing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, shopping, dine at world-class restaurants, or attend a special event. See our Things To Do section for more details. 

Where is the nearest grocery store?
City Market and Safeway are located 4 miles west of the Vail Residences. A daily shuttle runs from the hotel at 11 a.m. for guests to shop.

Can I store my luggage?
We will gladly store your luggage after you check-out until you are ready to depart. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Winter Reservations

  • 2 to 6 night stays - A 2 Night non-refundable deposit which includes room rate, taxes and resort charge is due at booking. The remaining balance is charged 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
  • 7 or more night stays - 25% of the total stay amount is due at the time of booking. This deposit is nonrefundable. The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to arrival and is nonrefundable within 120 days of arrival.

Summer Reservations

  • A (1) night deposit with tax and resort charge is charged at time of booking and is non-refundable. The balance is charged 21 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
     

PET POLICY

Guests are NOT allowed to bring pets. Sorry, no exceptions

 

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT POLICY

  • Check-in time:   4:00 pm
  • Check-out time:   10:00 am
    *Chair 20 operates only during the winter and opens/closes depending on snow conditions and weather
    We will try to accommodate all early check-in and late check-out requests whenever possible

 

PAYMENT POLICY

Winter Reservations

50% deposit due at time of booking

  • For 2 to 6 night stays -  A 2 night non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking.  Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. If arrival is within 30 days full payment is due for stays 2-6 nights.
  • For 7 night stays or longer – 25% deposit of the total stay is due at the time of booking, this is non-refundable. Final payment is due 120 days prior to arrival and is nonrefundable within 120 days of arrival. (7 night +)

Summer Reservations
50% deposit due at time of booking

  • For 2 to 6 night stays - A 1 night non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival. If arrival is within 21 days full payment is due
     
  • For 7 night stays or longer - 25% deposit of the total stay is due at the time of booking, this is non-refundable. Final payment is due 120 days prior to arrival and is nonrefundable within 120 days of arrival. (7 nights +)

 

PARKING

Guests receive 1 complimentary reserved parking space per unit at our Vail, Colorado family resort. Additional parking can be found via on-site Valet Parking at $45 per vehicle, per night.
These charges are separate and distinct from the room rate and from taxes. Service charges and taxes may be subject to change.

ROLL AWAY'S AND PACK AND PLAY'S

  • Pack and Plays are provided upon request based on availability at no additional charge
  • Roll away beds are not permitted.
  • Air Mattresses are available on request. (one per unit)

 

TAX

Rates do not include state and local tax which are subject to change. Tax is currently at 9.8% and calculated on gross rate.

 

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION AND TAX EXEMPT FORMS

Complete the Credit Card Authorization form if the card holder will not be present at the time of check in.
Complete the Affidavit of Non-Taxable Sale to a Tax Exempt Organization form for all tax exempt purchases at the Vail Residences at Hotel Talisa Condominium Resort.

 

RESORT FEE

In addition to Vail hotel room rates and taxes, there is a daily resort service charge of 7.5% of the nightly rate for condominiums and vacation home rentals. Fees are subject to change.

 

CONDOMINIUM DISCLOSURE

Because Vail Residences at Cascade Village act as rental agent for individual condominium owners, rented accommodations cannot be completely controlled. For this reason, specific units cannot be guaranteed.

  • Guests enjoy access to all resort amenities.
  • Summer Housekeeping Services: light daily service includes providing clean towels, trash removal, making of the beds and replenish supplies, if needed. Linens changed mid-stay for stays of 5 nights or more.
  • Winter Housekeeping Services: full daily service includes providing clean towels, vacuuming, kitchen and bathrooms cleaning, trash removal, making of the beds and replenish supplies, if needed. Linens changed mid-stay for stays of 5 nights or more.
  • Telephones: Private phone lines available with complimentary local calls.
  • Wireless Internet Access: Available in Coldstream, Millrace, Cascades on Gore Creek, Penthouses and Westhaven.
  • Wireless & Hardwired Internet Access: Liftside (units vary)
  • Humidifiers provided in each unit.
  • Answering machines provided in each unit.
  • Pack N Plays provided upon request based on availability at no additional charge.
  • Coffee Makers provided in each condominium with filters.
  • Irons / Ironing Boards provided in each unit.
  • Roll away Beds are not permitted.
  • Air mattresses are available on request (one per unit).
  • Smoking in vacation residences is prohibited.
  • No pets allowed.
  • One assigned covered parking space per accommodation with additional uncovered parking spaces available.
  • Penthouse parking fee is billed upon check out.
  • Fireplaces are gas or wood burning with wood provided
  • Each residence has a fully-equipped kitchen.
  • Paper towels, toilet paper and tissue boxes are provided in every unit.
  • Washer / Dryer provided in each unit with detergent available.
  • Toiletries including bar soap, shampoo and lotion are provided in each bathroom.
  • One hairdryer is provided in each bathroom.
  • On call shuttle between condos and the adjacent hotel available along with shuttles into Vail and Lionshead Villages.
  • Concierge Services are available through the adjacent hotel.
  • Ski Storage is available at The Ski Valet & Concierge next to Chair Lift #20.
  • Room Service is available with menus located in the in-residence directory.
  • Private vacation home and condo rentals are subject to a 7.5% resort fee per home, per night. Resort fees are subject to change.
