Festival attendees will also get the chance to see Circus of Light, an unforgettable acrobatic show with talented performers from around the world. Holiday Bowl December 28th
Watch Michigan and Washington State go head to head at the 40th annual SDCCU Holiday Bowl on December 28th, 2017. The festivities start downtown with the Holiday Bowl Parade, America’s largest balloon parade. Marching bands, grand floats and giant balloons will line the streets of San Diego as spectators watch and continue family traditions. Kickoff for the SDCCU Holiday Bowl begins at 6:00pm. Get to the game on time and with ease by taking the MTS Trolley from our Fashion Valley trolley stop.
San Diego Bay Parade of Lights December 10 & 17th
Experience a true California holiday tradition on the water! This 46th annual local tradition will feature 80 decorated boats of all sizes. This year’s theme, A Pirates Christmas, will bring thousands to the shore as they watch dazzling boats sail by. An award will be given out to the best decorated vessel. Dr. Suess’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! November 4 – December 24th
Watch as the Old Globe Theatre gets transformed into Whoville during the 20th annual performance of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! This family favorite includes songs “This Time of Year,” “Santa for a Day,” and “Fah Who Doraze”. Santa Train North Pole Limited December 1-23rd
All aboard the North Pole Limited! This interactive train ride features Christmas caroling, a reading of The Night Before Christmas, and plenty of cookies and hot cocoa.
