THE GALLERY AT SWEETGRASS is nestled into the Sweetgrass Plaza at the Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms. The Gallery currently showcases 29 regionally and nationally recognized artists that have created pieces celebrating the beauty, color and tranquility of our coastal locale. Works range from oil-painted landscapes, seascapes and streetscapes to impressionist and abstract views. In addition, the Gallery offers serene fine art photography, prints and creative pottery. The gallery hosts an artist-in-residence program, with featured artists who create and paint in the Gallery while sharing their artistic passion with the Isle of Palms community and resort guests.
The Gallery is directed by Cynthia Miles with Gallery Associate Ranna Harley. The two are personally acquainted with each artist represented and are passionate about sharing their work and celebrating their artistic stories. They work closely with the artists to curate and display a collection that represents the beauty of place and invokes memories of time spent in the Lowcountry. They invite you to visit and share in their enthusiasm for the art and The Gallery at Sweetgrass.

Hayden is creating in the Gallery’s studio space, capturing the scenery and the technicolor of life on the coast.
“The intentions of my paintings are to celebrate the various textures, colors, and spaces of a living scene or object by incorporating intense saturated colors and strategic marks; the captivating works combine the highly technical with the naturally organic. I invite viewers to consider the possibility that naturally existing colors evolve and are experienced on a wider spectrum depending on lighting, setting, and mood. I strive to make the quiet areas where colors collide have their own exciting moments.”
Hayden is a South Carolina native who received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Clemson University with a focus in oil painting. Charleston is her home and each of her works of art celebrate nature’s coloration, light and energy that is so treasured in the Lowcountry.
Hayden is a wonderful addition to the experience of the Gallery and its Resident Artist Program. The Gallery looks forward to showcasing her paintings, sharing the visual stories of our beautiful locale and having her make Wild Dunes a place for creativity and inspiration.
Hayden’s studio schedule will provide weekly opportunities to learn about her artist vision and creative process.

Fallon will continue to create around the Wild Dunes Resort, capturing the energy and life of our beautiful island. As a local South Carolinian, Fallon finds her strongest inspirations in the light and unique terrain of the Lowcountry. Creating many pieces enplein air, you will find her painting on the beach, along the marshes and golf courses with expressive and intentional brushstrokes. Each of her works of art captures the energy of her surroundings, bringing life to the canvas. Her personable and joyous nature can be seen in her bright depictions of the South. She is deeply inspired by place and her works of art exude the feelings of their locale.
