"We recently held our annual conference at your facility and I cannot rave enough about the entire staff. They are some of the friendliest, hardest working and professional people of any I have ever collaborated with. They never appeared stressed or annoyed...they just got the job done no matter how long it took. What really endeared them to me is how warmly they behaved to me and our staff - they weren't just polite and courteous - they were also very kind.
Any request I made was met with a "can do" confidence and even when I messed up, your staff remained unflappable. They remained smiling even at the end of a long day of moving tables, hoisting heavy trays and dealing with last minute requests. You must be really proud of them and deservedly so. They know their business well, whether it's setting a room, timing the service of a meal to a large group, or responding immediately to a last-minute request......they excel at it all."

"In September I was in Bend, Ore., visiting the Sunriver Resort, a Destination Hotels property. My expectations were high, and I was still blown away by the hotel and the area. The hotel is one of the more idyllic places I have been in years.
The number and variety of activities that can be done, either on a personal level or as a teambuilding group activity (which the hotel can arrange), are seemingly limitless. One can go horseback riding, hiking, biking, river rafting, golfing, canoeing, snowshoeing, sleigh riding, and dog sledding, and there are also a myriad of kids' activities. A beautiful spa offers dozens of treatment options. And the hotel will bring in telescopes for groups, or even photography experts. If you are bored there, it is your own fault.
This is the perfect hotel for those groups that want a lot to do or for groups that enjoy bringing their families. It would be ideal for board meetings, corporate retreats, or pretty much any group that wants a memorable meeting in a unique setting.
I was loathe to leave Sunriver, as the serenity there is unmatched. The hotel is luxurious, the service is amazing, the activities are endless, and I cannot wait to go back again."

"This will be our sixth year working with Sunriver, and we couldn't be happier. The professionalism of your staff and their attention to detail helps make our event successful. Whenever we have a need, all we hear from your folks is "that's not a problem". It is also nice to see many of the same faces year after year. You employee retention speaks volumes to how they are treated by management. "

"Don't be fooled by the misperception that getting to Sunriver is difficult - it's part of the adventure! It's true that many travelers will have to take a quick connecting flight to get to the Bend/Redmond Airport, but the ride is only ---- minutes long. Passengers can use this time to take in the phenomenal views flying over the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. Once you land, the drive to the resort only gets better - the scenery is simply breathtaking.
Gems like Sunriver are rarely close to the hustle and bustle of urban life and airports. If you're looking for a little slice of paradise, make the trip - you won't be disappointed!"

"Thank you for making our stay at Sunriver such a memorable experience. Every one loved it. Our "lodge" was perfect. The food fantastic. You really made it very easy for us. we feel spoiled - which, of course, we are. Thank you and we shall return!
"Greatest family destination ever! I just can't say enough about Sunriver Resort. This was our second visit (the first was in 2006), and both times, my expectations were exceeded in every area. The rooms/lodges/condos are immaculate and very comfortably furnished. Plan to bring your own bikes, or pay to rent them there - it's worth every penny. Once we parked our car on arrival, we didn't drive again until we checked out - everything we wanted to do was in biking distance (all on paved trails, navigable with young children in tow). However, if you did run out of resort-associated activities - though I can't imagine how - there are tons more activities (Lava Lands, Bend/Sisters, Mt. Bachelor) in the immediate vicinity. Within Sunriver Resort, everyone we met at the hotel and in the village was helpful and friendly. If your family likes to bike, hike, walk/run, swim, play tennis or golf, paddle or float the river, ride horses, play at the park, visit a nature center, shop, or eat, this is the destination for you!"

"This was our first time to Sunriver Resort (and Oregon) and we were blown away! What an amazing property. The rooms, spa, food, service - everything was incredible. We really felt like we were miles away from everything but yet just a few minutes from Bend and Mt. Bachelor. We can't wait to come back next year."
Sandra Shea - Grass Valley, CA
"So many times we travel and pay a high price for not a lot in return. This is not the case for the River Lodges Guestrooms. You provide a beautiful, relaxing environment for a reasonable price. It is one of our favorites."

SAGE SPRINGS SPA
"The Sage Springs Spa was the nicest spa I've ever been to. Everyone was really friendly and no one was stuffy at all. I loved the hot tub and the relaxation room. All of your staff was helpful and friendly. People went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I was very impressed. My kids absolutely loved Sunriver Resort."

"Our family, and in particular our ten year old daughter, have embraced Sunriver Resort's Traditions programs over the last five years. I can't begin to express my appreciation for how you and others have contributed to the life long memories of Christmas of our daughter. All of your efforts are deeply appreciated."

"What a great fly-in destination! It was an easy, picturesque trip from Palo Alto in my Mooney 201. There's an instrument approach (two, actually) to the mile-long runway. Gas is reasonable, either self-serve or from the truck. It's a short walk from the airport to the lodge and the resort is self-contained, so you don't need a car while you're there. I'm already looking for an excuse for my next visit."
