Fly Fishing Excursions

• Guided Fly Fishing Drift Trips - The best way to experience fly fishing, full and half day guided fly fishing float trips from a drift boat on the Yakima River are available. Fly fishing experience is not necessary – beginners are welcomed. The trips include all gear, fly fishing supplies, lunch (full day), beverages and transportation from the Suncadia. Each drift boat can accommodate up to two anglers. A fishing license is necessary and can be included.
  * The Yakima River is Washington’s only Blue Ribbon trout stream for rainbow and west slope cutthroat trout. It is a protected fishery with catch and release only regulations. 

• Walk and Wade Guided Fly Fishing - Fly fish the local trout streams on foot with one of our expert guides. Very much an introduction to the great sport of fly fishing, your guide will provide instruction on casting, fly fishing techniques, entomology, fly patterns, and reading water. This excursion departs from the Suncadia Lodge, includes all fly fishing gear and supplies, transportation, and can be scheduled at anytime during the week. A fishing license is necessary. The Walk and Wade is a great way to start learning the sport.
