Over 1.7 miles of graveled path meanders around the property through forests and adjacent to the spectacular Stowe Mountain Club golf course on Spruce Peak. The scenery is breathtaking and it’s a wonderful way to spend time with your family!
Moss Glen Falls
is an easy walk for all ages. This waterfall consists of a spectacular 125-foot tall combination of several drops falling one after another, with a few dramatically different viewpoints of the falls available for you to enjoy, each magnificent in its own way.
Stowe Recreation Path
: People of all ages enjoy spectacular views and a mostly flat and level path experience, allowing for easy travel along the entire length of the path. The Stowe Recreation Path
is open all year long and is enjoyed by cyclists, runners, rollerbladers, as well as Nordic skiers and snowshoers during the winter months. Many area restaurants and shops can also be accessed from the path. The Rec Path features attractive bridges, swimming holes and picnic tables, as well as many quiet spots to take in the beautiful views of Stowe and the area’s mountains.

Cady Hill Forest
is located in the heart of Stowe on the Mountain Road. This mixed-use property was put into conservation by the Town of Stowe in 2012. The Cady Hill Forest property consists of 258 acres comprised of three parcels of land. An estimated 11 miles of single track and double track trail currently exist on the property and is regularly used for non-motorized recreational activities including: hiking, biking, running, hunting, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing.
Bingham Falls Bingham Falls
is a short, easy hike and perfect for families with children. It’s a beautiful, two-tiered waterfall with endless swimming holes. The long, tight gorge along the river cause the water to create a deep rumbling, thunderous sound as it is forced downstream and eventually over the main 25-foot falls. This gorge is one of the prettiest in Vermont. The water is a beautiful teal color through a sunny open area of mixed forest and meadow. Follow the trail to the base of the falls for perhaps the best gorge hiking and swimming in the area!
