Since Squaw Valley joined forces with Alpine Meadows in 2011, one lift ticket or season pass provides skiers and riders access to both ski areas. Guests can now explore 42 chairlifts and 270+ trails across more than 6,000 acres of skiable terrain. With a complimentary, 15 minutes shuttle that runs between the resorts, Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows offers the most terrain in a single day, on a single pass, of all Lake Tahoe ski resorts.
Tahoe's Longest Season - With snowfall possible from mid-November through the end of May, Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows offers, on average, more days on snow than any other Tahoe resort. At both resorts, the vast upper mountain holds snow in wide-open bowls, accumulating a base snow depth that ranges from 10-20 feet. This makes for exceptional spring skiing with more terrain open longer. There have even been years when guests could ski on the 4th of July! Nevertheless, please call ahead to confirm the snow conditions because the length of the ski season can change based on the season’s snowfall.
More Lifts - Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows' massive network of 42 lifts includes 10 high-speed express chairs and redundant lifts to ensure fast access and no lift lines, all over the mountain, even on the busiest holidays.
Extensive Grooming - There's nothing like carving turns on a freshly groomed run. Squaw Valley | Alpine Meadows' grooming fleet tills and pushes the snow all around the mountain every night to make perfect corduroy every morning. From wide-open rolling glades, to some of the steepest groomed runs in North America, there's groomed terrain for all abilities.
World-Class Ski and Snowboard Instruction - Squaw Valley Ski & Snowboard School offers programs for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities, including special multi-day clinics, first-timer programs, and more. To book a lesson, call 800-403-0206 or visit www.squawalpine.com.
Resort at Squaw Creek is a four-season mountain destination with activities that are weather dependent. The amount of snowfall that the region receives will determine whether certain snow-activities are available at the time of your visit. Please call ahead for the latest news.
