    Lake Tahoe is the perfect place for a summer vacation you’ll never forget and Resort at Squaw Creek is here to help. Below is just an example of a perfect day here in Lake Tahoe. The best part are all activities listed below take place right here so you don’t have to go far to have fun.

    8:00 am

    Everyone knows there is never enough time to do everything you want on vacation so it is important to wake up nice and early so you can get the most out of your day. Not a morning person? We have you covered. Get your morning kick-started with a coffee or tea from Sweet Potatos Deli or enjoy a great breakfast at Cascades. A good breakfast will get you ready for an awesome morning adventure with one of our Recreation Team’s guided activities!

    9:00 am

    Almost every morning, Monday through Saturday, there are guided activities taking place from right here at Resort at Squaw Creek. These include activities like a guided hike up Shirley Canyon with views of cascading waterfalls, Shirley Lake, and a gondola ride down from High Camp to Squaw Valley Village. There is also a Peddle & Paddle Tour where you bike to Lake Tahoe and Paddleboard, and a Bike & Float Tour where you bike to Tahoe City and then raft the Truckee River back to the resort. No matter your experience level, there is an adventure waiting for you!

    3:00 pm

    After a long morning of exploring there is nothing better than cooling off by the pool and having a drink from the Oasis Grille. Also on Wednesdays and Fridays there are Pool Slide Races, so you can test your speed against other guests! May the fastest win! If you need a little extra pampering check out Spa at Squaw Creek for all your spa needs.

    6:00 pm

    Test your skill against other guests with our lawn tournament games on the Pavilion. All you need is a partner and some luck and you could walk away the champion of the resort. On Wednesday look for  Bocce ball, Friday play Cornhole, and Saturday check out Ping Pong.

    7:00 pm

    As the day comes to an end it’s time to enjoy the finer things in life like a good meal. Montagna is the Resort at Squaw Creek’s newest restaurant and was recently named one of North Shore’s best restaurants by USA Today. The menu is our Executive Chef’s modern take on classical Italian and is full of dishes that will make you say WOW! Try some of our favorites like the molto grande meatball, Parisian gnocchi and a daily housemade fresh pasta.

    8:30 pm

    Finally, take advantage of the beautiful night sky with our Stargazing Tour.  Gaze into the vast beyond and learn about the constellations, the history of stars, and perhaps a bit about your astrological sign. It is the perfect end to a perfect day!
