    There is no better place to celebrate the birthday of American than in Lake Tahoe. Between the lake, festivities and fireworks Lake Tahoe is full of fun and exciting things to fill your week with. Here at Resort at Squaw Creek we are paving the way for you to have an unforgettable July 4th. Here are our four reason to celebrate the 4th in Lake Tahoe.

    Number 4:  Red, White and Brews

    Enjoy food, family and fun when you reserve your seat for our special Red, White and Brews dinner on Tuesday, July 3rd, or Thursday, July 7, evening. The menu will feature an all American theme. Our pool side bar will also be featuring contents such as watermelon, ice cream, and jello eating contests all week long.

    Number 3: Hike and Bike

    Did you know that you can rent a bike right here at Resort at Squaw Creek? We have a wide selection of mountain bikes, cruisers, kids’ bikes, and kids’ carriers. It’s everything you need to have a great family adventure exploring the Truckee River and Lake Tahoe. From Resort at Squaw Creek it is less than 5 miles to Tahoe City where you can go to the beach, check out the local shops, or explore more of Lake Tahoe.

    Also take advantage of the exquisite hiking right around the resort. Hikes like Shirley Canyon are perfect for the whole family to enjoy, or if you’re a little more adventurous you can take on a more advanced trail like Eagles Nest. Whatever your experience level there is a trail for you that is accessible from right here at the resort.

    Number 2: Create a new Family Tradition

    Lake Tahoe is all about creating memories and traditions with family and there is no better time to do that than the 4th of July.     You can’t celebrate the 4th of July without fireworks and in Lake Tahoe there will be lots of them! Just a short drive from Resort at Squaw Creek you can catch the Kings Beach Fireworks on July 3rd and then hop over to Tahoe City for the July 4th show!
