All of our registered guests must be at least 21 years of age. All reservations require a credit card guarantee due at time of booking with deposits subject to individual rate policies. Standard cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival, but policies may change based on each individual rate confirmed. We are proudly among the best dog‐friendly hotels in Scottsdale. Dogs are welcome in one of our McCormick rooms with specific out door access there will be a $200 deposit to secure possible damage and or cleaning costs associated with a pet occupying one of our guest rooms which $100 is refundable upon inspection of guest room.  Owner accepts any and all responsibilities associated with their pet, including responsibility for all claims, losses, costs and expenses incurred as a result of their pet’s behavior.  Please see the below pet policy.



We invite guests to check in any time after 4:00 pm on day of arrival; the checkout time is before 11:00 am on day of departure. Should you arrive early, store your luggage with our bellman and enjoy the resort until your room is ready. Guests must be 21 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult, to check into the resort.


Shipping and Receiving

All resort guests and conference attendees, package shipping/handling is being handled through The UPS Store #6893 which is located on the property in the Business Center.

 Firearm Policy

The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch strictly prohibits the possession of weapons on resort premises, in accordance with Arizona code section A.R.S. 4-229. No exemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, even those licensed and permitted to carry a firearm, and/or where applicable, to conceal-carry a firearm. Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises.

Pet Policy Terms

  • Acceptable pets would be dogs. (Dogs must be 50lbs or less).
  • If guest is accompanied by 2 dogs, the weight limit is 25 lbs per dog. 
  • Specific pet friendly rooms are located on the first floor McCormick building with front door access to the outside or non-suite Stillman rooms unless a service animal
  • No pet is allowed unrestricted access throughout a sleeping room unless the owner is present.   
  • It is the guest’s responsibility to keep their pet quiet while in the guest room.
  • Guests needs to display the “Do not Disturb” to alert HSK that there is a pet in room.
  • No hotel employees will enter any guest room housing a pet unless the owner is present.
  • Owner must provide a contact telephone number to the hotel in the event that the owner departs the room.
  • If continued complaints are received, hotel reserves the right to enforce policy and guests may be asked to leave the resort or find immediate alternate accommodations for their pet when necessary. 
  • Pets are to remain on leash when traveling through any public areas of the hotel and are allowed unrestricted access (On leash) to outside areas surrounding the resort. Pets are not allowed in pool areas unless they are a service animal per Maricopa County health code.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times.   
  • Pets may not access any food and beverage outlets or pool areas.  The exception would be a service animal. 
  • Owners are responsible for retrieving any pet waste.

An authorization will be placed on your credit card for the full value of your room plus incidentals at check‐in. Guests must have a valid card to check in. Cash deposits not accepted.
