Health & Safety at The Scottsdale

Your health and safety has always been our number one priority. That’s why we reaffirmed our Cleanliness & Care Commitment alongside all Hyatt properties worldwide. As we work to protect your family’s wellbeing, we also want to preserve our relaxing resort experience.

Rest assured that our resort is following all recommendations and mandates from the CDC and federal and state health authorities regarding cleanliness and distancing. We’ll take care of the details so you can reconnect with what matters: family.

Here’s what you can expect during your stay at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch.

    New Housekeeping Standards:

High standards within our teams translate to high standards for our guests’ experiences. Members of our housekeeping team will maintain a distance of six feet during our morning stand-ups, and no more than one team member will ride in the elevator at a time.

    Before Your Stay:

    • Your room will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized ahead of your arrival.

    • Once your room is clean, no one will enter the room until you do.

    During Your Stay:

    • We have suspended daily housekeeping services unless requested by the guest.

    • Requested daily housekeeping refreshes will include fresh towels, bath amenities, trash removal, etc.

    • Housekeeping team members will not service the room while the guest is in the room.

    • Any special requests will be left outside the guest room for a contactless delivery.

    • All team members will practice less contact with guests in hallways. Employees will greet and step aside to practice social distancing.

    Room to Relax:

At The Scottsdale, you’ll have plenty of room to relax—even as you maintain six feet of distance between yourself and other guests. We’ve implemented informational signage throughout the resort to remind you of all the ways you can protect your own health and the health of others.

These are the experiences and spaces you’ll want to be aware of before your visit:

    Check-In:

    • We’ve placed six-foot spacing markers on the floor to take the guesswork out of maintaining a safe distance from front desk agents and other guests.

    • Our team rearranged all lobby furniture to accommodate physical distancing recommendations.

    • We’ve also added plexiglass windows to our front desk stations.

    Dining:

    • Our restaurant teams reconfigured seating to meet all physical distancing mandates.

    • All servers and kitchen team members are required to wear masks and gloves pursuant to CDC guidelines.

    At the Pool:

    • Our pool is chilled, so you’re welcome to make a splash or cool off as long as you respect physical distancing mandates.

    • You’ll find informational signage in all access points to our pools with instructions on how to safely and respectfully enjoy the pool area.

    • Pool chairs, chaise lounge seating, and the Twisted Vine Pool Bar and Grill tables have all been arranged to meet the social distancing requirements of Arizona Governor Ducey’s current executive order.

    • We’ve given special training to all bartenders, servers, and special services on protocol and how to address social distancing with guests.

    Amenities & Experiences

Relaxation and exciting new experiences are on their way, even if they may be slightly different than you remember. But just like Kitchen West’s menus change with the seasons, our experiences can adapt to accommodate just about anything.

This is what’s up for grabs during your stay:

    Chilled Pool:

    • Our chilled pool is the perfect place to escape from Arizona summer heat. Take a dip then dine poolside at Twisted Vine Pool Bar & Grill.

    • Please be advised that Twisted Vine Pool Bar & Grill is currently serving a limited menu. You can find this same menu at our other restaurants, Kitchen West and Bar Six40.

    Golf:

    • The McCormick Ranch Golf Club wraps around our resort. Book an early tee time to beat the heat, then grab some clubs and a golf cart and head to the green.

    • Guests of The Scottsdale enjoy access to preferred tee times.

    Local Area:

    • Be sure to check local guidance and the status of your specific destination before you venture out.

    • While businesses may only offer limited operations, the great outdoors is always open.

    • 15 miles of the Scottsdale Greenbelt pass in front of the resort. It’s an ideal trail for morning walking, running, and biking.
