"Elegance in the heart of Richmond. If you are in Richmond, this hotel is a must stay. Situated in the trendy Broad Street area, the hotel does not disappoint. Upon entry, you are immediately in the world of chic architecture that pays respect to the rich history of Richmond. The lobby, restaurant, and rooms are posh and comfortable. High ceilings also provide the feel of grandeur. The restaurant, Maple and Pine, is a culinary delight. I highly recommend the chilled asparagus soup and the hanger steak. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although my visit was for business, I felt like I was on vacation in the hotel. This will be my go-to for all my trips to Richmond."

"Spent 2 nights at Quirk for a quick getaway and was definitely impressed. It's all about style and comfort here. Great room design, comfy beds, clean and stylish bathroom with huge shower- although water pressure is somewhat lacking. We didn't try rooftop bar or restaurant but some of the smells coming from the kitchen made me wish we had! Drink prices are a bit high at the bar but that's typical of hotels. The genuine quirkiness and feel of the place is welcoming. It's different but not off-putting in any way. Lots of pink in decor but it's done tastefully. Of course, being a boutique hotel prices are naturally higher but you get what you pay for and I would stay at Quirk again and that speaks volumes."

"What a wonderfully "Quirky" hotel! From accommodations to food, service and personnel, my stay was superb! Started the evening off lounging and drinking Proseco on the rooftop which provides a full panoramic view of the city. Caught Uber to a local seafood restaurant, returned for more time on the rooftop before heading to our Quirky room. The rooms are spacious with huge windows and more great views. Finished our stay with a sumptuous breakfast of grilled avocado with a poached hen egg and smoked bacon cream sauce on sour dough bread. "

"Brace Yourself for Fun & Joy. The Quirk is just that! Someone/s immensely creative re-purposed this divine old department store into a hip hotel with incredible character and whimsy. There are many cities with this same concept in play, however most seem to depend on the unique character to carry its success alone. Not so with Quirk. The service here is impeccable. They employ lots of young people who are bubbling with personality and an attitude of helpfulness. This staff knocks itself out for their guests' comfort and happy experience. The lobby is such a relaxing place to enjoy, with nice views through the large windows. The food is terrific. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, as are the beds. Just cannot say enough good about Quirk."
