Your health and safety is and has always been our top priority. While we’ve embraced Hyatt’s Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment, the entire team at Motif Seattle is taking that commitment even further.

We’re devoting ourselves to creating a healthy and positive environment for you, our guests, so that you feel safe making your way back to Seattle. Our team’s care and consideration for you begins long before you check-in. Here’s what we’re doing before and during your stay to help you have a safe and satisfying trip to Seattle.

We are thrilled to announce that our facility has achieved GBAC STAR™ facility accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a Division of ISSA - The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, to prevent and respond to outbreaks. With more than 9,300 members—including distributors, manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, wholesalers, building service contractors, in-house service providers, residential cleaners, and associated service members—ISSA is the world’s leading trade association for the cleaning industry. Your reservation is one thing you shouldn’t have to stress about. For stays through the end of 2021, reschedule or cancel with no penalty up until 24 hours before your trip.

    Hyatt’s Mask Mandate

Face coverings are required for all guests, including fully vaccinated guests, within indoor public areas like Motif Seattle's hotel lobby and Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails per Washington State Department of Health. Face coverings are required for non-vaccinated guests in all public areas. Additionally:

    • We will provide a face mask for you should you need one.

    • Some guests may be exempt from this mandate, including but not limited to guests with medical conditions and children under the age of 2.

    Hyatt Mask Mandate
    Before Your Stay

The team at Motif Seattle will prepare for the health and safety of your stay before you even check in. This approach includes:

    • Pre-arrival communication letter from the General Manager detailing what to expect from your stay.

    • Thorough sanitation of your guest room with hospital-grade disinfectants, after which no one will enter the room until you do.

    • Lobby signage and social distancing markers on the floor during check-in.

    • All employees are also empowered to remind guests to follow the hotel’s policies and procedures.

    Before Your Stay
    During Your Stay

We’re taking care of the details so you can focus on exploring Seattle. Here’s how we’re promoting a safe environment in all spaces of our hotel.

    • Hand sanitizer stations at high-touch areas throughout the hotel.

    • Enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols.

    • Use your Amazon Alexa throughout your stay to request assistance without touching any services. Amazon Alexas in each guest room can be used as the TV remote, to request towels, to call the Front Desk, or to answer any questions about the Local Area.

    During Your Stay
    Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails

Though some aspects of the Motif Seattle experience have been amended to keep you safe, the fun of Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails endures. Enjoy our new Elevated Afternoon menu at an intimate table inside or out on our new patio set-up.

    • Frolik now offers digital menus via QR code and appropriately spaced tables.

    • Frolik’s spacious outdoor rooftop/patio is also set up for social distancing.

    • Social distancing signage will be placed at the entry and throughout Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails.

    Around the Area

Like cities around the world, Seattle isn’t exactly as it used to be. Some activities and attractions have been modified to ensure they’re safe for all. However, there are still plenty of things to do that will make for a rewarding trip to the Emerald City. We recommend:

Take a ferry day trip to less populated towns just across the sound.
