Cancellation Based on Stay Date
July 1-Labor Day (peak season) ::: Must cancel at least 14 days prior to arrival
Off Season ::: Must cancel at least 7 days prior to arrival
A non-refundable deposit of one night’s room and tax will be charged either 7 or 14 days prior to arrival depending on your stay dates as listed above. If reservations are not cancelled within the timeframe above, the deposit will not be refunded. Stays during peak season (July-Labor Day) require a 14 day advance deposit or cancellation. Reservations during certain special events or holidays may be subject to different cancellation policies.
Early Arrivals/Late Departures - Requests for early check-ins and late check-outs are not guaranteed. If you are planning on an early arrival and you would like immediate access to your room we recommend reserving for the prior night. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you depart.
Early Departures - Check-out prior to originally booked departure date will result in a charge of one night's room and tax.
Resort Charge - L'Auberge Del Mar has a mandatory resort Hospitality Services Charge of $39.00 per evening.

Taxes - Rooms are subject to 12.5% state and local taxes and fees as well as the California Tourism Assessment Tax which is 0.4% of the daily room rate.
Method of Payment - Visa, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. Credit cards must be presented upon arrival or a credit card authorization form must be received prior to arrival with the cardholder's signature. If paying by cash, we still require a credit card to be kept on file for any incidental charges. Direct billing must be arranged with the hotel prior to arrival.
Parking - Valet parking only: $39 per day
Vacation Package Offers - Package components (e.g. spa services, dining, surf lessons) should be reserved at the time of booking to ensure availability. No refunds will be made for unused package components. Packages do not include resort fee service charge or taxes unless otherwise stated. Gratuities are not included with any packages.
Rollaways & Cribs - We have a limited number of rollaway beds and cribs available for $50 per stay. Please request one upon booking your reservation if needed. Due to fire codes not all rooms are able to accommodate rollaways, please check with your reservation agent when booking.
Refrigerators - Each resort guestroom has a stocked minibar fridge for your convenience.
Smoking Policy - The city of Del Mar is a smoke free community. All of our resort guestrooms are non-smoking and there is no smoking on guestroom balconies or patios. In addition, smoking is prohibited on pool decks, restaurant patios. This policy also applies to electronic smoking devices.
Pet Policy - L'Auberge Del Mar allows up to two dogs per reservation with a $125 pet charge (per stay). Guests checking in with dogs are asked to sign a waiver at check-in to acknowledge their understanding of our Pooch Policy.
