Holiday Cooking Demo Class
Saturday, November 3, 11 a.m.
Guests will eat, drink and be merry as Chef Nathan Lingle shows them how to throw an easy, kudos-worthy holiday party with great success. He will share various methods for cooking a turkey to perfection and help participants create both traditional and non-traditional sides. The resort’s resident mixologist will whip up the perfect holiday concoction to wow guests while the in-house wine guru will walk class attendees through choosing the perfect wines for their party. To help everyone continue their culinary journey, they’ll receive a special edition recipe book as well as a custom-designed apron.

Make Your Own Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece
Sunday, November 11, 6 p.m.
Hosted by Mint Studios, participants will enjoy this hands-on workshop where they will create a personal succulent pumpkin centerpiece. They will select their favorite succulent, learn the basics of planting and design a custom home decor piece to last throughout the season. Terrariums can be customized with sand, pebbles, colored moss and other available decorative items.

Santa By The Sea and Christmas Tree Lighting

Santa by the Sea invites all to the heart of small town, quaint and fun Del Mar Village to see Santa, create holiday crafts including Rad Hatter Holiday Hats, write notes to be delivered to Santa’s workshop and enjoy cookies, hearty soups and appearances by Mr. Mint and the Grinch. Revelers are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit children in need given through the North County Health Services.

Experts at L’Auberge Del Mar will teach guests how to create their own beautiful holiday wreaths to use as a door decoration or a magnificent holiday table centerpiece. The team will help wreath makers fabricate a unique piece they’ll love to show off. This could be perfect for a holiday girls’ night out destination.

Gingerbread House Building

Gingerbread House Building at L’Auberge Del Mar could be the start of a family tradition to carry on for generations. House builders decorate their special homes with colorful gumdrops, marshmallows and an array of festive candies.

Santa is getting ready to make his yearly visit. Bergie, L’Auberge Del Mar’s famous Christmas Elf, will be at this breakfast to tell stories about Santa as well as other favorite Christmas tales. Guests enjoy a pre-Christmas breakfast and then snuggle down by the fireplace to listen to Bergie’s stories.

Movie Night in the Amphitheater

‘Twas the night before the night before Christmas and everyone is getting excited about the Big Man’s visit! They gather the kids both big and small, a blanket to sit on and their holiday cheer as L’Auberge Del Mar presents Movie Night in the Amphitheater. There will be special treats and beverages to purchase, or guests can enjoy dinner and snacks in the resort’s restaurants after the movie.
