In the heart of downtown San Antonio sits the historic Main Plaza and its stunning Cathedral. During the day, the San Fernando Cathedral is worth a visit but be sure to stick around til after dark to see the history of San Antonio unfold in a stunning light show, projected on the cathedral’s exterior walls, called “The Saga”.
The 24-minute multimedia event, spearheaded by the Main Plaza Conservancy and designed by French artist Xavier de Richemont, is a combination of light and music that depicts the history and development of the city. “The Saga” is free to the public and plays Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 9pm, 9:30pm and 10pm.
