People's Fund of Maui Commitment

The devastating Maui wildfires have had a major impact on our beloved community. While we are still focused on attending to the needs of our employees who have been impacted by the fires, we are also beginning to look at how we can contribute to Maui’s recovery and rebuilding efforts. The road ahead of us will be long and challenging, and in the coming months and years we will continue to support our community once specific needs become more clear.

Although Lahaina town is closed to visitors, and will be for some time, the rest of the island is open and welcoming back visitors who want to experience the magic of Maui and share the aloha spirit.

PEOPLE'S FUND OF MAUI CONTRIBUTION

From now through the end of 2023, $50 from each reservation at one of our Kaanapali Alii residences will be automatically donated to the People's Fund of Maui. This local fund is providing direct financial assistance to Maui community members experiencing devastating losses from the fires in Lahaina and Kula. Adults (18+) who lost their primary residence in the recent fires are eligible to receive $1200 per month. Your visit will not only help support our ‘ohana who were impacted by the wildfires, but will also help bolster the local economy. We are committed to giving back to our island community in this time of need.

The vast majority of Maui is open, and the areas near Kaanapali offer a range of activities and amenities. Guests can expect to experience Maui’s landscape, pristine oceans, dining, golf, outdoor recreation and so much more.
