Last update 9/8/23 at 1pm
Mahalo for your patience as we navigate the ongoing wildfire situation on Maui. The entire Maui community is devastated by the destruction and loss the island has witnessed and our team is working hard to ensure the safety of our colleagues, owners, and guests.
We will update this page with new information as we receive it and send communications via email for guests and owners.
WEST MAUI OPENING UP ON OCTOBER 8th:
At this time, many of the resorts and hotels in Kaanapali have been vacated to allow room for emergency personnel and displaced Lahaina residents. The Kaanapali Alii will welcome guest arrivals starting on October 8, 2023. If you have a confirmed reservation on or after that date, we look forward to hosting you! If you are considering a vacation to Maui to support our local economy, please plan your arrival this date. For any questions, please call our reservations team at 866-664-6410.
ROAD CLOSURES
The highway into West Maui through Ma'alaea is open to all motorists daily. The Maui Police Department will cite and tow vehicles parked along the Lahaina Bypass. Roads into Lahaina town are restricted to emergency personnel only.
WHERE TO DONATE
In the wake of the devastating Maui wildfires, many of our Kaanapali Alii ‘ohana that live in Lahaina have tragically lost their homes. These individuals have been the backbone of our resort operations and now find themselves in dire need of support to rebuild their lives. We have set up a GoFundMe page that will support our staff.
