Inn and Spa at Loretto Ranks Among Top 10 Best Hotel Spas in America in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—May 15, 2015; Santa Fe, New Mexico:  Santa Fe’s award-winning Inn and Spa at Loretto, A Destination Hotel, is proud to announce it has been selected as #5 of America’s top ten hotel spas by the, a travel website owned by USA TODAY.

Nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel of relevant experts, which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from; relevant expert contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties. The nomination panel for each award category is displayed on its associated contest page; voting is by and USA TODAY readers.

“We focus on spa offerings that go beyond the technical treatment and address each individual and what they need for true restoration and deep healing,” said spa director Suzanne Chavez. “Everything from our treatment menu focus and master therapists, to our house-made, organic, and locally-crafted aromatherapy oils is approached with reverence to the highly spiritual nature of our location.”

A panel of experts picked the initial 20 nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote. Experts Ava Roxanne Stritt (Spa Travel Gal), Anne Dimon (Travel to Wellness) and Dena Roché (The Travel Diet), together co-founders of Wellness Travel Media, were chosen for their expertise in the spa travel industry.
