FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—July 15, 2015, 2015; Santa Fe, New Mexico: Santa Fe’s award-winning Luminaria Restaurant at the iconic Inn and Spa at Loretto, A Destination Hotel, will be sending Executive Chef Marc Quiñones to Texas in August as part of a partnership with Precept Gruet Winery and Central Market Cooking School, which will host its 19th annual Hatch Chile Festival this year. Quiñones will be creating dishes at five demonstrations that all feature the renowned dish of New Mexico: Green Chile. The dishes made for New Mexico’s neighbors will also be featured on the Luminaria menu for a limited time and include Green Chile Shrimp & Chorizo, Green Chile Duck Confit Egg Rolls, and Green Chile Sorbet.
“There is a lot of synergy between the style of cooking popular in Northern New Mexico and the style in Texas,” said Quiñones. “I’m looking forward to bringing some of the heat of our Chiles to our Texas neighbors, and to show off some of the flavors of Santa Fe – all perfectly complemented by the award-winning New Mexico grapes of Precept Gruet Winery.”
