We’ve been keeping a BIG TIME secret, but the word is finally out! Say hello to the newest addition of our rockstar team, Chef Roshni Gurnani!

What has been your most exciting culinary experience?
“Every food experience for me is exciting. I love traveling and the best part of visiting different countries for me is going to local markets, butcher shops and culinary schools. Just shopping locally and experiencing food as a local wherever I travel is my favorite thing to do. Local restaurants, street food, festivals, homes… this is what excites me.”
What's your favorite thing to order at a restaurant?
“Besides a gin and tonic, I love trying chef’s specials or staff recommendations. I always ask staff what they recommend on the menu and why. I love hearing the story behind it.”
What’s your favorite thing to cook for yourself?
“For myself….hmm I’m a chef that almost never happens lol. But honestly I love comfort food. Authentic Indian home cooking that is fresh. It’s all about respecting your ingredients and keeping it simple.”
What’s the most popular dinner dish in your house?
“I’m always getting special requests from friends and family members that I try to fulfill. I make it a point to cook at home daily. And honestly, a life of a chef is hectic. I dedicate an hour every morning to meal prep for the day. I use as much fresh ingredients as possible and play with food. I cook different cuisines and have fun with it. When I entertain I get a little more critical and try to follow a theme night.”
Where do you see Revolve in one year?
“I would love to see Revolve as one of Houston’s top 10 restaurants with an edgy cool vibe, serving upscale, scratch based Texas cuisine!”
