    Policies

    PARKING 

    Self Parking is available at a rate of $25 per night, which also includes in and out privileges.

    HOTEL ROOMS

    Children under 17 stay free in the same room with parent or adult. Additional adults are subject to an extra person fee of $15 USD nightly. 

    • Check in begins at 3:00 P.M.
    • Check out time is 11:00 A.M.

    Late checkouts are granted by the front office and are subject to availability. Fees may apply. Max occupancy in a room is four people. Rollaway beds are available upon request for a nightly fee. Rollaway beds are not permitted in rooms with two double beds. Cribs are available complimentary; guests are encouraged to reserve cribs in advance as they’re offered on a first come, first serve basis.

    SMOKING POLICY

    The Hotel De Anza is a 100% non‐smoking hotel. A guest will be assessed a $250 cleaning fee if found in violation of this policy. The front desk can provide information about designated outside smoking areas.

    ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES AND ACTIVITIES

    The Hotel De Anza reserves the right to evict any guest with illegal substances, participating in illegal activity or disorderly conduct; the room and tax is non‐refundable.

    PET POLICY

    The Hotel De Anza is happy to welcome dogs. Guests are encouraged to complete our hotel's pet agreement prior to arrival and present upon check‐in. Learn more about Hotel De Anza's pet policy below.

    GUARANTEE

    A valid credit card is required at the time of reservation to guarantee the stay. Credit cards are authorized for room, taxes and incidental charges at the time of check‐in. Some rates require prepayment at the time of booking and are non‐refundable. We do not accept personal checks.

    INCIDENTAL DEPOSIT

    A refundable deposit will be taken at the time of check-in to cover the cost of incidentals such as parking, room service, restaurant, etc. It will also cover the cost of repairs, excessive cleaning or other charges that may result from the guest's failure to comply with Hotel De Anza's policies. The deposit must be taken from a valid credit card and will be refunded once the room is properly inspected.

    TAXES AND FEES

    • San Jose Occupancy Tax: 10%
    • Convention Center Facility Tax: 4% (required of all San Jose hotels even if not using the Convention Center)
    • CA Tourism Assessment: .2916%
    • Hotel Business Improvement District (HBID): $2.50 per room per night

    DELIVERIES

    Guests may have packages shipped to Hotel De Anza. Packages are accepted one week in advance and require the name and arrival day of the recipient.

    LOST AND FOUND

    Hotel De Anza will hold lost and found items for 30 days. The hotel is not responsible for any items that are in lost and found.

    PET POLICY

    Hotel De Anza welcomes pets. Please note, there are a limited amount of pet-friendly rooms and must they be arranged in advance.
