    Destination Discovery

Discover all that San Jose has to offer within minutes of Hotel De Anza.

Whether you like the beach, mountains or wine country, San Jose is close to it all and makes a perfect home base for those who want to explore all that Northern California has to offer.

    Walk

Hotel De Anza sits in downtown San Jose. From the hotel, guests can easily walk to the Farmers' Market, San Pedro Square, the SAP Center, Japantown and a host of other attractions, museums, historic parks and churches, restaurants, nightlife and more. Downtown Willow Glen with its sidewalk cafés, coffee shops and vintage shopping makes for a pleasant afternoon, and Santana Row offers some of the best shopping and dining in San Jose with exclusive home décor and fashion boutiques, and cuisine from sushi to authentic Mexican to cupcake cafés and everything in between. Or, for some of the best nightlife in San Jose, walk no further than the hotel lobby. The Hedley Club Lounge is a favorite with the locals, and offers jazz and weekly cocktail specials!

Ride Ride the rails! The Light Rail is just two blocks from the hotel and puts you in the middle of all the action in California’s Bay Area. San Francisco and Levi’s Stadium – home of the San Francisco 49ers – is a quick train ride away, and Caltrain makes stops at Stanford, Menlo Park and Santa Clara.

    Drive

Or stay closer to town and hop in the car for a ride to some of California’s best beaches within an hour’s drive, including Santa Cruz, Seabright Beach and Natural Bridges State Beach (where, in the fall and winter, the Monarch butterflies stop to rest on their way to South America during migration season).  Take a driving tour of San Jose’s tech sites, including the headquarters of Google and Facebook, NASA’s Moffett Field, and the offices of eBay and Apple.  Or visit one of the Santa Clara Valley’s famous vineyards, the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy or the Winchester Mystery House.
