TOP ATTRACTIONS

The Space Needle
Enjoy dinner while suspended 605-feet in the air! This UFO-shaped observation tower lives up to its name, and towers over Seattle from it’s home in the center of the city. Don’t forget, since the restaurant rotates, you’re guaranteed 360 views.

Museum of Pop Culture
Learn all about pop culture past and present at the Museum of Pop Culture, or MoPOP! Created in 2000 by Microsoft’s co-founder, Paul Allen, this unique museum offers 17 exhibits. With new exhibits constantly debuting, you’ll need to check the schedule beforehand.

Seattle Aquarium
Home to octopuses, otters, and all kinds of other marine animals, this conservation focused aquarium admits nearly 800,000 visitors every year. With a 120,000-gallon tank built to replicate the Washington coast, along with diving shows and regular mammal feedings, it’s a great place for those old and young.

Coffee
Home of the original Starbucks Cafe, Seattle has long had a love affair with coffee. With a reported 35 coffee shops per 100,000 residents, individuals in Seattle drink more coffee than any other city. While Starbucks is easily the largest coffee retailer, there are plenty of other unique places to get a cup of joe while in town.

WHEN TO VISIT

If you have the flexibility, late June through early September is considered the best time to visit. With cooler weather and fewer crowds, it’s overall a more pleasant experience.

WHAT TO PACK

As one of America’s rainiest cities, it’s best to prepare! With at least 150 drizzly days every year, you’ll want to make sure you have an umbrella with you.
