When is The Rooftop Pool Opening?
Thursday May 24th is the official opening date.
What are the hours of operation for the Rooftop?
Who has access?
Book your hotel room at The Embassy Row Hotel because guests (up to 4 people per room) receive complimentary access and priority for The Rooftop pool in Washington D.C.
Limited day passes are available to the public for $30/each starting at 2 PM each day EXCEPT Monday through Wednesday. All guests with pool access will be given a wristband to identify them.
The pool and pool deck will be exclusively for Hotel Guests until 2pm. Locals may come up for a drink and bite to eat but may not utilize the pool or pool deck until 2pm. Locals wishing to eat or drink may utilize the seating under the tent.
Where can I purchase a Day Pass?
Day passes are purchased on The Rooftop at the Main Bar beginning at 2 pm for $30. Hotel guests are given a maximum of 4 wristbands per room. Day passes cannot be purchased ahead of time. However, if tickets are purchased for our Rooftop events, day passes are exempt.
Can I bring in outside food or drink? Can I order food on The Rooftop?
We do not allow food and drink that was not purchased at the hotel onto the Rooftop however, if you do have a guest room, you are more than welcome to enjoy your items in your room. Our D.C. hotel with a rooftop pool does have a grill open Thursday – Sunday on The Rooftop as well as grab-n-go salads, sandwiches and locally made treats in the lobby in our 24-Hour Chef’s Pantry.
Is there a bar on the rooftop?
There is a full bar on the rooftop available providing Signature Cocktails, Premium Spirits, Wines, Champagne, Local and National Beers. Check The Rooftop Menu.
Can I reserve Seating, or a Lounge chair?
Chairs and lounge chairs are first come, first serve. Any chairs left unattended for more than 30 minutes may be given to awaiting guests. Guests of The Embassy Row Hotel have priority and complimentary access to The Rooftop each day.
Can I host a Birthday Party or Event on the Rooftop?
We DO NOT do private events on the rooftop. Guests of the hotel can have up to three additional guests on The Rooftop. Each guest will need to pay the $30 day pass fee.
Is there a life-guard on duty?
You are swimming at your own risk. There is not a lifeguard on duty as pool is only 5 feet deep.
Is there a Pool Attendant on duty?
Pool Attendants will be available to assist you with towels, seating, and other requests so you can sit back and relax.
