This compact, fenced-in dog run has artificial turf for easy clean up with benches for humans. Take your dog off the leash, and let them get all of that energy out!
SHAW DOG PARK
1673 11th Street, NW
With almost 15000 square feet, your pup is sure to make new friends. Nestled between Q and R street, this park is not only fully fenced, but has an area for large and small dogs.
FRANCIS DOG PARK
25th Street, NW
The action hasn’t stopped since Francis Dog Park was named Best Future Dog Park in the 2015 Best of D.C. Awards. It’s a mixed used dog park, so while you’re playing Frisbee with your buds, dogs can romp around with the local community too.
East Capitol and 11th Street, SE
If you’re feeling historical, take your dog to visit Lincoln Park, which was the site of Lincoln Hospital, named after President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War. Famous poet, Walt Whitman also frequented the park before it was deemed a park!
