What are three items you would bring to a desert island?
A Dog, specifically a Pit Bull because they are as loyal as anything. My hammock. A knife.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would that be?
Brazil; The Amazon.
What 3 people would you invite to a dinner party?
Sasha DiGuilian (one of the best female rock climbers alive), my best friend Kerry, and Jane Goodall.
What’s your favorite kind of group to work with?
Couples who are getting married. Each one has a different style and it is refreshing every time.
What’s the secret to your success as a Sales Manager?
Constant to do lists. I’m talking multiple a day. They keep me on track and keep me up to date. Without them, I would be a mess.
What’s the biggest career risk you’ve ever taken?
Entering the hotel industry with no prior background in hotels. Talk about a learning curve. It has been an excellent experience so far! Especially with the E-Row Team.
Do you have any insider hospitality tips for groups traveling to D.C.?
Always check local bloggers blogs. They generally post great tips about places to eat and events happening around the area. They are always in the know.
How do you celebrate a big victory at work?
Celebrate with friends once the day is over! Margaritas are essential.
What advice do you have for your clients on the best deals?
Always keep an open mind. Search for places and things that you wouldn’t normally search for. There is nothing worse than limiting yourself.
Describe someone outside of your field who inspires you?
My late Swedish Grandmother. She was strong, compassionate, and a pistol when she needed to be. I admire that and she still inspires me today and always.
