We believe we can make an impact on the lives of others. From Saturday pancakes and playing BINGO with elderly to cleaning up a neighborhood in Southeast D.C., our staff and our partners are a part of the D.C. community. This is, after all, what D.C. is all about. It is a melting pot of influences, where everything comes together and especially at The Embassy Row Hotel, where it does so perfectly.
We proudly celebrate what makes this city great. We are its pulse. We are D.C. We are proud of our partnerships. These organizations align with our mission and are authentic, deeply rooted and making an impact in the nation's capital. Our passion for giving back to the community has led to our partnership with So Others Might Eat (SOME). While you're visiting, look for these key items on the reverse that benefit So Others Might Eat and our other partnerships. If you're interested in volunteering with The Embassy Row Hotel staff during your stay, please email email@example.com to find out about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Our suite on the eighth floor is called SOME suite. For each night the suite is occupied, we donate 1% of revenue to So Others Might Eat.
At our restaurant Station Kitchen & Cocktails, our chef creates a special of the day. Every time you order the special of the day, 25 cents is donated to So Others Might Eat. You'll notice the special of the day is always served in a special bowl. This bowl was commissioned and created by students at the Corcoran School of Art.
Our continuous break stations in the meeting space are popular among groups. Every continuous break station purchased results in 5% donated to So Others Might Eat.
Support a Cause Wednesdays
We're passionate about supporting the community and impacting others which is why we launched Support a Cause Wednesdays. The Rooftop and Station Kitchen & Cocktails help locals raise funds for their favorite cause with no obligations. Locals can schedule their D.C. fundraising event, invite their friends and The Embassy Row Hotel will promote it on social media too. We'll donate $1 from beer and wine sales to the cause. Schedule your event by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The Embassy Row Hotel has strong ties to the community, read about the community initiatives.
We believe in equality for everyone at The Embassy Row Hotel. We are passionate about supporting our colleagues and the LGBT community as a whole. We're proud to be a sponsor for the 2015 Capital Pride Week Festival, the fourth largest LGBT celebration in the country.
