    Hiking

There are plentiful hikes to explore here in Vail. One of our most convenient is Berry Picker. Once on the top, you can either ride down on the Eagle-Bahn Gondola or hike back down. This hike takes approximately 2-3 hours one way. Short on time? You can loop this trail back to Lionshead Village about a mile up or take it east towards Vail Village. Don’t feel like hiking up? Ride the Eagle Bahn Gondola to the top of Vail where you will experience easier hikes with breathtaking views. Please inquire at the front desk for more information.

    Driving

Experience Colorado outside the beautiful landscape of Vail Valley. Head South on Highway 24 for the Leadville Loop or stay in Vail and head north on Red Sandstone to Piney Lake; a dirt road that meanders to the scenic Piney Lake with breathtaking views of the Gore Range. While visiting Piney Lake stop by Piney River Ranch. Head west and drive through stunning Canyon and make sure to leave enough time to take a dip in the Glenwood Hot Springs and visit the Adventure Park where family fun awaits.
