    Vail Holidays

    December 14- 31, 2019

Vail Holidays is returning to Vail with holiday cheer.  This two-week free family friendly event takes place in both Vail and Lionshead Villages. Make sure to stop by the community room in the library to make your own paper lantern to display during the Holiday Lantern walk in Vail Village to the Gore Creek Promenade and leave enough time to experience the Vail Winterfest Ice Theater.

Vail Holidays is the perfect place for family celebration this holiday season, as the town and mountain come alive with lights, sounds, events and cheer during the month of December.

Embrace the holidays with the annual tree lighting ceremony and lantern walk. On New Year’s Eve torchlight ski down and fireworks, ring in the New Year Vail style with the Torchlight Parade, followed by fireworks at Golden Peak. Watch as ski instructors and Vail locals form a train as they ski down Golden Peak with glowing sticks followed by a fireworks display. Holidays is free and open to the public.
