Lost Forest & Tubing Center

Both are located on Snowmass mountain itself, at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola. Lost Forest is an on-mountain adventure park that features the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, the Canopy Run Zipline, the Treeline Trial Challenge Course, the Rugged Ascent Climbing Wall, Timber Territory Paintball, as well as a stocked trout pond for little anglers, a disc golf course, hiking trails, gathering decks, and more. Thirty-five km of meticulously groomed trails wind across 600 acres in the sub-alpine valley surrounding the Ghost Town of Ashcroft, a turn-of-the-century mining town on the National Register of Historical Places. At 9,500 ft. in the upper reaches of the spectacular Castle Creek Valley, the ski area offers terrain for all levels of Nordic skiers, as well as rentals. The Pine Creek Cookhouse offers an alpine gourmet menu featuring wild game and fresh fish alongside organic, locally-sourced ingredients.
