What To Expect When You Stay With Us

At Destination Residences Kona-Kohala, we embrace the value of kakou, “we are all in this together.” Rest assured knowing that we are devoted to your safety and health, in addition to the wellbeing of our associates and owners. When you return to your island home, we will be here to welcome you with a warm Aloha. 

 

Although there will be some changes to our services and amenities, we are committed to ensuring you have an enjoyable stay. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will continue to keep you in-the-know with changes; below are details on what you can expect when you stay with us.

 

ARRIVAL EXPERIENCE

To minimize interaction between guests and staff, you will be sent instructions on how to sign up for our texting service, Zingle, prior to your arrival. Three days before your stay, we will text you with comprehensive check-in instructions.

 

LOBBY AND PUBLIC AREAS

Per the governor's emergency rules, face coverings are required in all areas of the resort.  Our staff will be cleaning and disinfecting all public and high-traffic areas on a regular basis each day. 

 

YOUR VACATION HOME

Our spacious residences allow you to vacation at your own pace with private lanais, fully equipped kitchens, and room for the entire family in a secluded hideaway.

 

GUEST SERVICES/CONCIERGE | 8:00am – 4:00pm daily

Our guest services staff offers knowledgeable advice, great rates, and reservations for all Maui activities from luaus and dinner cruises to bicycle adventures and helicopter tours. Dinner reservations and babysitting are also easily arranged. We encourage guests to reach out via our Zingle texting service or by phone rather than coming in to the office.

 

HOUSEKEEPING

To ensure the safety of our guests and associates, we will be suspending daily housekeeping for the time being. Before you arrive, our team of in-house professionals will clean your residence using industry leading techniques, tools, and products in accordance with the Hyatt Global Cleanliness & Care Commitment, CDC, and WHO guidelines. If you need anything during your stay such as additional towels or trash removal, we have you covered - just send us a text via Zingle or give us a quick call! Visit our page on safety and cleanliness protocols to see all the measures we are taking to prepare for your stay.

 

POOL, PAVILION AND GRILLING AREA | Open 8:00am to 6:00pm daily

Our pool, grills, and the pavilion will be open to guests and following recommended CDC and government social distancing guidelines. Pool furniture will be paired and spaced six feet apart, pavilion tables and chairs will be spaced six feet apart, the pool area will be limited to a maximum occupancy of 10 people at a time, and wearing protective masks is strongly encouraged in the pavilion area. The Destination Residences Kona-Kohala maintenance teams will continue to sanitize all touch points in the pavilion and pool areas regularly throughout the day. 

 

GROCERY SERVICES

Skip the line at the grocery store and order your groceries ahead of time. Foodland Farms in Mauna Lani is offering online ordering and pickup.

 

BEACH ACCESS

Enjoy some fun in the sun! The beach at Mauna Lani is open to visitors.
