Summit and Stars

Experience our island at a whole new level with the Summit and Stars excursion. Fuel up with a hot, picnic-style dinner and then set out for one of the most unique Hawaiian adventures. Climb to the top and you'll witness one of our famous sunsets from a summit of 13,796 feet. As the sun sinks below the horizon, take in spectacular views of Haleakala on Maui, Mauna Loa, and Hualalai. To wrap up this breathtaking experience, you'll head over to one of the largest collections of telescopes on earth to spend the evening stargazing and sipping warm beverages.

Picnic Style Dinner - choose from the following:

1. Teriyaki Chicken (gluten-free)
Served with brown rice, carrot, zucchini, bok choy, and yellow squash with a garlic and white wine sauce, and a caramelized pineapple garnish
2. Kalbi Beef Short Ribs (gluten free)
Served with brown rice, carrot, zucchini, bok choy, yellow squash with a garlic & white wine sauce, and a caramelized pineapple garnish 
3. Vegetarian Thai Curry (gluten- and dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan)
Served with brown rice, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, portobello mushroom, sugar snap peas, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, onion, bok choy Warm Parka Dessert Hot coffee, tea, and cocoa

Time: Kona to Waikoloa pick up is between 2 - 4 PM, depending on sunset time

Location: Tours depart from Kailua-Kona, Waikoloa Kings' Shops, and the Junction of Highways 190 and 200
