We have temporarily paused normal operations including all properties and services

Good morning from a very quiet Vail, Colorado!

As you have likely heard by now, due to the presence of COVID-19 in Colorado, Vail Resorts has announced that they will not be reopening this season.

Here at the Christiania at Vail, we pride ourselves on connections, having joyous moments with one another and relishing in the shared pursuit of outdoor adventures, so it is with a heavy heart that I inform you that the Christiania at Vail has temporarily paused normal operations through May 2020.

At this time, we plan to open on schedule for the summer season, and all summer reservations are currently guided by our normal cancellation policy. We are currently taking summer reservations and look forward to welcoming guests beginning June 2020.

We are offering refunds for stays through May 2020, or credits on a future stay if you prefer. Please be patient as our on-site reservations team will be fielding a huge volume of calls over the coming weeks. We will do everything we can to get to you as quickly as possible. You do not need to reach us right away in order to qualify for a refund or credit. We will continue to process refunds and credits through the spring.

If you did not book directly with us, you will need to contact the party through which you did book regarding a refund or a credit.

For the latest updates and facts on this fast-evolving situation, we recommend visiting the following public health authorities’ websites, as well as your local health department website:

    World Health Organization
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
    Colorado Department of Public Health

Our hearts go out to the people who have been affected by this global health crisis and we appreciate all of those working tirelessly to contain this virus.  Stay safe, enjoy your loved ones and we look forward to seeing you in Vail in the future.

    With hope and courage,

    John Everly
