The Carolina Inn Introduces a New Signature Menau at Crossroads Chapel Hill

THE ELEVATED CONCEPT, CONCEPTUALIZED BY EXECUTIVE CHEF BRANDON SHARP, ESTABLISHES CROSSROADS CHAPEL HILL AS A CULINARY DESTINATION

Chapel Hill, NC (September 13, 2017) – The Carolina Inn, A Destination Hotel, the charming and historic hotel located in the heart of University of North Carolina’s campus, is delighted to announce a new fine dining concept within its restaurant, Crossroads Chapel Hill. The new signature menu boasts six thoughtfully designed courses starting at $75, with an optional $45 wine pairing supplement, and will expand upon the restaurant’s à la carte dinner. The seasonally-inspired menu rounds out the Inn’s culinary offerings and establishes Crossroads Chapel Hill as an all-encompassing dining destination for discerning travelers and locals alike.

Brought to life by The Carolina Inn’s Executive Chef Brandon Sharp, a North Carolina native and Tar Heel Alum, Chef Sharp brings more than fifteen years of fine dining experience and seven Michelin Stars to The Carolina Inn. Chef Sharp’s signature menu is carefully composed to reflect a sense of place in each dish. Embracing his own culinary journey, following a critically-acclaimed tenure at Solage Calistoga Resort and Spa in Calistoga, CA, and experience working with industry luminaries such as Thomas Keller, John Besh and Gary Danko, Chef Sharp felt inspired to bring a world-class dining experience to Crossroads Chapel Hill.

“With this menu, our team is further able to add insight to the conversation around North Carolina’s dining scene,” said Executive Chef Brandon Sharp. “Our goal is to transport guests with each course by showcasing innovative techniques and rare ingredients for an unforgettable meal.”

Each six-course signature menu will change quarterly and will be enhanced by unique beverage pairings. The inaugural Autumn tasting menu includes:
