The Road to Hana

When it comes to Hana, a serene and peaceful town perched on the eastern shore of Maui, the journey there via the “Road to Hana” is just as memorable as the destination. But whether you choose to cruise the 60-mile drive in a day, or spread it across several days, you’ll enjoy spectacular natural beauty, alongside unique sites and destinations. Located near the halfway point, Coconut Glens, a humble ice cream shack, doles out organic, vegan versions in a range of flavors, such ad traditional coconut, chocolate chunk, and banana rum.

Encompassing seven acres, Hana Farms is a sustainable farm and lively marketplace rolled in one. Though it turns out a bounty of delicious home made products (like hot sauces and preserves), not visit would be complete with a loaf of the best-selling banana bread. For breathtaking views of the natural, rugged coastline and world-famous Black Sand Beach, make a stop at Wai’anapanapa State Park.
