Tet Fest in New Orleans

A unique way to celebrate Vietnamese New Year

Tet Fest is a unique, vibrant, and weekend-long celebration of the Vietnamese New Year in New Orleans. From February 8th through 10th, locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to participate in a bevy of fun events, performances, and culinary experiences. Tet Fest officially kicks off with a colorful fireworks show and dragon dance, and is followed by lots of opportunities to sample delicious and affordable Vietnamese fare (think pho, banh mi, and fried banana) and immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture. The weekend is family-friendly (so bring everyone), and even better? Admission is free.
