Taste of: Terranea Resort

For many years we have enjoyed the bounty of fresh herbs and vegetables growing in the Mar’sel garden and throughout the resort. Fresh ingredients including squash, basil, and green beans, are plucked right from our garden and used in many of the chef-inspired dishes throughout the resort. Recently, we’ve taken great steps to further enhance the authentic farm-to-table experience at Terranea Resort. Under the direction of Executive Chef Bernard Ibarra, Terranea has planted a number of new crops at the nearby Catalina View Gardens in Rancho Palos Verdes, just south of the resort. This additional farmland allows the resort to grow many different fruits and vegetables including heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, watermelon, corn, eggplants, strawberries, chili peppers, bell peppers and more! You can taste Terranea’s farm-fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs in the chef dishes throughout the entire resort including mar’sel, cocktails at The Lobby Bar, infused in the gelato at sea beans, and at events such as the Celebration of Food and Wine and the Chef’s Table Dinner Series. You may also purchase house-made sea salt at sea beans, harvested in our Sea Salt Conservatory and infused with herbs such as rosemary and lavender as well as Meyer lemon and smoked flavors, to use in your own home.

The coastal setting of Terranea embraces its Mediterranean heritage and incorporates it into its architecture. The Incentive Affinity Team is a group of National Sales Managers that handle strategic Incentive Houses within the Incentive & Meetings Industry.
