Catching Up With Jenny Stafford

Wine spa treatments are trending

Jenny Stafford has been keeping busy since being named as the new director of Spa Minérale at the famous Lansdowne Resort & Spa earlier this year. Recently, we had the pleasure of catching up with her, to discover what she’s been up to.

What do you love most about working at Spa Minérale?
I love my team! Many of them come from countries all over the world, and bring unique perspectives and skill sets to our business. And all of them work extremely hard to make our guests happy when visiting Spa Minérale.

What do you believe makes Spa Minérale so special?
We have the best spa facilities in the area, and we also focus on embracing our local Virginia wine culture in spa treatments and guest amenities.

What are your most popular treatments?
Our best-selling treatment is, not surprisingly, our Therapeutic Massage, followed by our wine-themed massages, body treatments, facials, and nail services. Based on the success of our signature wine treatments, we are planning to update the spa menu in the coming weeks to include more local ingredients and offerings that reflect a sense of place, here in beautiful Louden County.

And how would you describe Spa Minérale’s philosophy?
This is evolving at the moment, but we strive to reflect our local surroundings and cater to our guests’ desires to look and feel their best – and to provide a place to pause and recharge.
