While there’s countless ways to enjoy the sweet fruit – from pies to coffee drinks – have you ever thought about sipping it in a cocktail? That’s what the creative beverage team at Wild Dunes Resort is doing. Below, they share their original pumpkin drink recipe for Bulleit with Butterfly Wings.
Bulleit with Butterfly Wings
1.5 oz Bulleit Rye
1 oz House Made Pumpkin Falernum
.5 oz Triple Sec
.25 oz Simple Syrup
1 dash Ginger Bitters
1 Sage Leaf
Combine Bulleit Rye, Pumpkin Falernum, Triple Sec, Simple Syrup, and ginger bitters in an ice-filled shaker. Shake thoroughly and strain over one large ice cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with sage leaf.
