Three Women’s Boutiques You Can’t Miss in Houston

It’s important to shop local!

Bypass the big department stores, and support these independently and locally-owned businesses instead. Whatever it is you’re looking for – the perfect party dress, shoes, or handbag, – these Houston, TX boutiques near Hotel Derek will have your shopping needs covered.

Abejas
Since Christina Mitchell opened this boutique in 1996, its following and reputation has boomed. Today, its 3,000 square foot location is beautifully merchandised, and sells a hip roster of up-and-coming labels including Ulla Johnson, Zimmerman, and Nili Lotan.

Hello Lucky
Founded in 2008 by friends Teresa O’Connor and Yates Robertson, this adorable little cottage shop purveys funky, yet affordable clothing, accessories, and gifts. There’s an especially fun selection of tee shirts, and the service here couldn’t be any warmer or friendlier.

Elaine Turner
The locally-based designer – she’s most known for her handbags and accessories – is a powerhouse of a business woman. Since starting her eponymous line in 2000, the brand has grown into a mini-empire of sorts. All of her pieces are timeless, classic, and most importantly, affordable.
